Anneke Beerten is one of the most passionated mountainbike girls out there. She lives and breaths riding and is not scared of a challenge. Ever since she was a little girl she has been hooked on riding and she became a big inspiration to many people in the bicycle world. ! A young girl’s dream came true when she became a professional cyclist and won the World Championships in BMX and in 4 cross. She grew up in a small town in the Netherlands and moved to California a few years ago to continue her journey as a professional athlete in the US. Anneke’s experience both between & outside the ‘Race Tape’, provide an amazing platform for her to share her life’s journey through cycling.

2019 has been a great season for Anneke with 12 podium finishes, doing several kids and Womens clinics and having the honer to receive the 2019 Crankworx World Tour Spirit Award.

In the summer of 2020 Anneke was in a motor vehicle accident, someone had ran the red light and hit Anneke in the driver side of her car. In that accident she sustained a brain injury and whiplash, this resulted in a severe TBI injury. After a year of rehabilitation, Anneke had to medically retire from racing, a really tough pill to swallow for her. She kept working hard on her recovery, got back on her mountain bike and In 2022 she moved from California to Bentonville, Arkansas to focus on building her coaching business ‘Crank it up MTB"‘.
